Emotional regulation: practitioner training

I'm delighted to be teaching on an exciting new training opportunity for practitioners, with The Grove Practice, a well-established, high-quality training provider.

The Grove Practice has recently launched their groundbreaking ‘Regulate’ programme. Through this flagship, 6-day online CPD course, practitioners will gain a Certificate or Diploma in Advanced Emotional Regulation skills.

This new training has been developed by The Grove’s Medical Director, Dr James Kustow, a valued colleague and leading Consultant psychiatrist, who appreciates the role of the microbiome in mental health. His progressive and truly integrated approach is reflected in the wide range of specialists who will be teaching on this course.

The training is open to qualified professionals from various disciplines who are working in personal wellbeing, healthcare and professional development – including counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists, coaches and psychiatrists who work with adults.

The training will equip participants with a deeper understanding of the nature of emotions, and a framework illustrating how and why we become dysregulated. It will introduce a tool-kit of practical emotional regulation approaches to be used in clinical practice, with strong emphasis on practitioner wellbeing – so you will get to experience many of the approaches for yourself. This experiential training is one day a month from May to November 2022, with a break in August.

James and his team has brought together a really amazing Faculty, including leading national specialists, across a range of disciplines – from sleep management to somatic processing and of course nutrition and the microbiome. I will be presenting on this training in October, and intake is open now.

There's been a lot of interest and we expect places to fill up fast! For more information and application please visit:
